What is
Essentrics?
Essentrics is a no-impact exercise program that combines flowing stretch and strength movements to improve flexibility, balance, and posture. The movements are designed to gently work the entire body, including every muscle, every joint, and all of your connective tissue.

I’ve always enjoyed a wide variety of activities. In my younger days, those activities ran the gamut from childhood ballet, to high school volleyball, to collegiate rugby. Nowadays I enjoy cycling, hiking, and gardening.
A few years ago, I injured my back and had to step away from the activities I loved. My physical therapist introduced me to Essentrics which I started to incorporate into my recovery. I was able to ease into the gentle, yet dynamic movements at my own pace and over time, I gained back my strength without pain. I was better balanced, my posture had improved, and I had better body awareness.
Essentrics played a pivotal part in my recovery. Once I returned to the activities I loved, I continued to incorporate Essentrics to keep me balanced, strong, flexible, and to prevent future injuries.
I decided to become an instructor so I could share Essentrics - and all of its benefits - with others.
